I made these yesterday because I was going to 

get to spend the day today with my blonde

little monkeys again......only to wake up at 1am in the morning

to the flu bug......yuck!

I have never had the flu and been so dizzy before,

tis the season again!

Signs of Autumn or winter......

 Yesterday was the first nice day we had in a while......

 The pups and I went on a lovely Autumn walk ....

 with friends it was great to get out in the fresh air.

 When we got home my neighbor and her friend came over to ....

 to pick Rose hips and low bush cranberries......

 Jerry was sleeping so George and I had quality time.......

 It was so nice, we decided to take pictures before the rain comes around again......

 George was such a happy little trail blazer.....

 Last night though it was cool out and you could almost ......

well we don't even want to think

 about that ugly white stuff yet.......

I love the smell of the woods in Fall.

Moose Pass Mercantile.....and a little of this and that.

 Last Monday I drove back to this sweet little store that I had

driven by on my way home from our women's retreat....

I loved this trunk and sweet turquoise dish.

 How about a cocktail from around the world.....

  this vintage decanter and set of purple glasses......

 and lovely mercury glass bowl.....

  complete tea service set......I stopped and picked up a tin

of this tea to enjoy it with....it smells wonderful!

 This gives a whole new meaning to noodle art....

 Look at my little blonde monkeys.....they were so sweet!

they were with me 2 days last week.

 Ta da she was showing me how she re did her kitchen....

Heres the cookies we baked ......I think their tummies were

more full of the raw dow.......

I couldn't keep up with their fingers in the pot!

Cory celebrated his 13th birthday on Sunday.....

Monday I went for a drive

 and it was the only nice day we have had in a week.....

and its suppose to rain all this next week too.

We have flood warnings through Sunday

for some of our rivers.....

I have so much to share, I found an amazing little shop

when I went to our women retreat last weekend but its been so hard

to find time to blog and visit all of you.....from helping Phil to babysitting

for a friends little girls.....

I also about a month started an Adapt fitness program

like boot camp only not.....I hated it at first but now I'm enjoying it,

well maybe not enjoying it.....

 My post started off with a theme of some sort......

I found this sweet creamer the other day and well

we see where it ended up, home with me...

 On our trip I went with my sister-n-law to one thrift shop

and I found this green Cafe au lait bowl for a $1

it's so pretty....

 Check out these amazing vintage towels I found for the 

clementine bathroom....

 Fall weather is here and I had the opportunity to go to 

Homer with a friend and pick peaches and raspberries

so I said I would pick for her sister so she could make jelly and jam

look at how pretty it looks......its so delicious!

Last but not least

Heres my little men look at how big Jerry has gotten

George looks so tiny again......

We start puppy school next week,

I'll let you know how it goes!

This last week Phil and I shared our 18th wedding anniversary

seems like yesterday......

 A girlfriend found these over in Seldovia......

There little faces are so sweet.

They are going to be super cheery to look at going into winter!

 I found this fabulous vintage vase yesterday at a yard sale...

perfect for Halloween coming up!

 At the same sale I spotted this foot stool made out of old bean cans

the man gave it to me, I think he was shocked that I wanted it!

I think its fabulous....

 as if this post had a theme......I loved this oil I found also

they had cut the canvas and framed it, but look at the initials....

I wish they were a little smaller.

 and for my bull, this beauty was in the backyard

I hope he hides out long enough through hunting season.....

Long Beach, Oysterville and Snoqualmie Falls, the end!

 We stayed in Long Beach at this adorable beach cottage.....

its been in my sister-n-laws family for 3 generations.

 All the furnishings were original....

 I was in vintage heaven.

I apologize my pictures are not the best it was overcast the

whole time in the pleasant 70's.

 one evening we went to Oysterville for

steamer clams......

 The last day we went to the beach .....

 It was so pretty.....

I have always wanted to stay at the lodge,

Boy Fall is in the air here in Alaska

our leaves are just starting to change

with a lot of wind and rain.....

Anchorage last night in some parts had gusts up to 100 mph.
