Front porch re-do

 I decided to fix up the deck of the store

for us.

 I can have coffee out here tomorrow morning!

 These wicker chairs I love....

 My little plants are fake...

 still under construction.

 I need to plant and buy some hanging baskets....

color.

 this is the color I'm going to paint the whole house 

with white trim and shutters!

It's called recycled glass.

for those of you who are new to the blog in December

I closed up my antique store after 9 years
 which was in the red building

and our house was in the white and blue.
when we decided to close up shop and
connect the two buildings for more room!

I think once we change the 2 dormers on the house

to match the other dormers and then once the porch

is finished and connects to the house

I think it will be perfect.

A fun and restful weekend!

 Yesterday we were invited over to a big King crab feed 

over at a friends house her husband had been out

for two months commercial fishing.

Then if this was not enough she sent us home with a bag full!

 Then one of my dear friends moved to Texas and sent me

some beautiful pictures.

Just look at this amazing antique store!

 I would have had fun decorating this place!

 Yeah Phil is the man, he fixed our poor old bed!

with a rule of no more jumping

must enforce!

I have never been able to enjoy 

the summer breeze in the morning

when you first wake up, it's wonderful!

were having many firsts.....

Thank goodness for the weekend!

 See the window, those kids were jumping off the window sill

onto the bed....well

 Look what happened they broke our bed......

Upset, maybe a little

 mess and dirt everywhere this I expected....

 All there stuff...

 But the little pool I bought for Mimi

just the day before wrecked 

what was that all about!

finally at 2:45 they all left and peace settled back down

on our little home again....

I didn't even hit the bottle!

A little Alfresco

 I had such a fun day, I started off with a bike ride over to a friends

with the kids.

 Then Vicki and Shereen stopped by with some

Napkins and you all know how I feel about

Napkins, I'm crazy about them!

 Look at them....

 they are so amazing....which makes me just want to have a party

I think they go hand and hand!

 Only George showed up!

I have had a house full of children today 8 to be exact

and 6 sleeping over.....looks like pancakes for 

breakfast!

 Have you ever walked into someones home

style, I had to ask him if I could blog him!

I could have stayed longer but all I had was my

camera on my phone.....and the kids started honking

the horn, they had had it!

Today is the last day of school.....yippee! 

Weekend flowers.....

 ok I really just cut some tree branches 

but look at how sweet they look!

I am always amazed at how light changes

I guess I could have put on an Ironed tablecloth!

I went to a wine tasting party last night

that was so much fun us Mom's I

think need one of these nights at

least twice a year.

Changes in shades of green

A few weeks ago I took a few pictures

and as you can see the lakes were froze

in fact I think two days after I took this they all were free.

It seems Like over night we greened up

the kids and I put up some firewood tonight.

soon it will all be green!

My shot got a little dark but the mountains looked so pretty!
