Remember when we started cutting down the trees
in the backyard.
well the other night at dinner we noticed this herd
of caribou behind the house.
This Momma moose has been hanging out
behind the house for over a week
I'm hoping she will stay so we can see her babies!
as promised this is the necklace I mentioned
yesterday, from Madelief!
Isn't it amazing!
this sweet flower was in my strawberry box.
Thank you
for all your support!
I will share when the words come to me
as far as the lodge I'm still not sure if its sold yet!
Again, I sure have missed you all!
that sure is one yummy necklace!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to have all of you to share it with"
Its the right road! It's gonna be GREAT!!
So nice to have you back, I did miss you- I know I don't comment much but the thought that you're in Alaska, and reading about your life so far away with moose and bears in the backyard (things that we only see on television) and all the lovely things you do and say...well I really enjoy your blog!
Since the last Microsoft security update I can't access my followers widget nor anyone elses so at the moment I can't hit the button to follow your new blog (love the name) but until I get it sorted I'll come on over often and join your fun.
Lots of love
xx
And what happened with your other blog?? Hope you have the joy to see that caribou´s babies birth!!

Hi Heidi,
ReplyDeleteTo have caribou's in your backyard sounds very special! I still have to get used to your new blog name. It's so different from your old one. I am glad you like the necklace. I thought it was just the thing for you! Glad I was right :-)!
Lieve groetjes van Madelief x
Here you are Heidi!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful part of the world you live in. Caribou in your backyard? All I can say is wow. It is quite something!

That necklace is so gorgeous! I love that moose in your back yard! You'll need a fence so they don't eat all your plants!! It seems so amazing to me to have such large beasts so close.... I had kangaroos in my back yard daily eating my roses and herbs..... and that was ordinary to me but would probaby amaze you! Isn't it funny what we get used to?! X
ReplyDeletecaribou & moose! makes our raccoons and squirrels look pretty sad lol

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I've seen a more beautiful necklace! It's spectacular, no wonder you've received comments on it. I suspect the caribou are hanging around because they want a closer inspection of it!
