Winter wonderland......

 We woke up to 12-18 inches of fresh snow on Christmas morning.....

 every thing looked magical......

 The boys have gone ice fishing the last two days and have caught their limits

both days.....and Mimi and cory have been having fun sledding at  friends houses.

I took some pictures in town of all the snow....I will share them next!

I had three moose in the yard yesterday and I totally forgot to take

pictures because it took an hour and a half to get Jerry back in the house

even a leftover piece of steak wouldn't get his attention,

 that poor little moose family.

Thank God they looked at him like, would you please be quiet!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

I finished taking the tree down yesterday, 

it gets so dry with the wood stove.

A Very Merry Christmas.....

 I'm all finished with the hustle and bustle,

 Now we can sit back and relax,

 have fun with friends

we made the cutest snow globes the other day.

 Just a few more days.....

 were going to try and go snow shoeing on some of the hikes we went 

on this summer over Christmas break!

The kids and I are Super excited about this...

A Very Merry Pink Christmas.....

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend we woke up to 20 below

this morning brrrrrrrrr.

Let it snow.....let it snow...

I'm loving our fresh new layer of snow everything 

looks clean and crisp along with some warmer temps

although with this brings back slick road conditions.

There was an accident right in front of our home 2 nights ago

I'm not sure what happened but they took out a large tree......

and the dogs were going crazy with all the troopers

and tow trucks.......I pray everyone was alright.

On another note,

Year to year......Christmas Cheer....

 I ran into the gal that works at the thrift store at the bank yesterday and she was telling me

to stop by she was putting some new things out......

I found this lovely vintage frosted set.

 This year everyone wanted the tree back in the living room

which is not an easy task....space wise.

 I also found these lovely Anne Klein flats, 

I don't think they were ever worn!

 This was last year and I must say I'm thankful we left the flocked

tree put away this year with Jerry......

because He's just too precious!

We have gotten a good dump of snow 

and 

along with that came some lovely warmer temps.

its wonderful!

My Christmas wish list......and small news!

 First I really have everything I could ever want right now this year

for Christmas......

 But when the catalog for my beloved 

Anthropologie came in the mail......this sweater for our cold days

moved to the top of my wish list!

 along with these shoes......

 this chair I threw in for conversation.....

the jury is still out on this one!

For my small news. A few months back I mentioned that I had joined a bootcamp

program which in turn made me want to make more healthy choices.....

I finally have lost 25 pounds. Of course I have a few more to go

but its a start in the right direction.

For my entire life I have always carried around extra weight

and I pray this never finds me again.....I'm so excited!

Gingerbread, Moose,a re-do and a big thank you!

 After church yesterday Lisa came home with us to make a 

gingerbread house with Mimi.

She is a foreign exchange student from Germany

she goes to school with Jeremy and is in the same grade.....

she's so sweet!

 How sweet is she, I had to rescue her from the thrift store...

 I re-did my wall again......
