For a couple of years now I have wanted to go through
and paint my trim white.....
I still have to paint the doors yet,
but I love the way it turned out, so much brighter!
before again....
after......
everything shows up against the white background......
take care,
Heidi
it is pretty and clean looking! that cute little imp at the end, too. :)

This looks great....I'm doing some of the same in my home. Did you leave the staircase stained?
ReplyDeleteThe difference is startling. Here in the tropics we do stick to a lot of white, cream or magnolia and I have not thought of other colors!
ReplyDeleteSo clean and bright and crisp. The light from the window would be ideal to sit and knit or crochet by. Sigh.......x Love the last shot of the little pixie girl. They grow up so quickly, don't they. Our little pixie girl starts school this month! Have a great weekend Mrs. D.I.Y. xxx
ReplyDeleteShow Heidi....it looks amazing, so bright and airy! :) x

ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic Heidi, makes your gorgeous colourful bits and pieces really stand out beautifully. It is a terribly tedious job though, keep it up for those french doors. mel x
ReplyDeleteWe are in the process of doing the same thing. We put white ceiling moulding up in the dining room, and it looks wonderful. Now for the rest of the house!
