These were just in the weed pile....

On Monday a friend helped me figure out why I couldn't change out
any of my blog images, like my header and so on....
since May I was shocked that I had 899 photos in my computer under one file...
So as I started going through the process to delete these.....
I started looking through the ones that never made the cut.....
looking at the green outside made me so happy....

Mimi took this picture of George.....we took him yesterday on our walk
he only made it halfway.....poor baby he had so much snow hanging in clumps
on his fur......poodle hair attracts the snow like a magnet.
 linen storage
 Mimi's dental visit
 tiffin vases...love these
This one brought back memories.....a picture of my shop
seems so long ago now!

I'm off to delete delete delete
and have my hand at storing pictures in their new home.
web albums.....wish me luck.

P.s. yesterday I watched Breakfast at Tiffany's
and How to Marry a Millionaire, then I went for a walk
another lovely day.....I better get to painted the trim though,
no more watching old movies!

Hope your all having a great week also!

Oh Happy days.....

Yesterday it hit 40 degrees....it was glorious!
Jeremy came home sick from school yesterday.....
so fingers crossed we don't all get his cold!
Cory, Mimi and I shoveled a path down to Carol's lake that was a workout
in itself and then we walked around the lake...it was beautiful!
the neighbor had made a snow machine trail around it before our last snow.....
so it was a little deep but quite doable.....
the other day Mimi and Cory made buns in different shapes
heres Mimi's heart......
Saturday I thrifted an amazing pair of vintage
boots......I will share them after there transformation....so excited!

Hope your week is moving right along.....
its amazing how a little warmer temps can put a bounce back in ones step!

It didn't start off to be about bowls.......

Well my start to this post was to be about moving this yellow
buffet out of the living room....
 to its new home .....
I put this lovely lace runner over the top, which I treasure.......
thank you again Madelief.
 which inspired all of these....

I love these flowers pins left over from the shop....

I found this milk glass pedestal at the thrift shop not long ago
with my treasured cupcake from Diane, thank you again.
a cafe au lait with a little Odd and Old.....she has a new art site.
Miss Birdie Blue featured this garland and I fell in love with it and was sharing it with my friend
Vicki that they were only .10 and she had already picked some up, I had to laugh!!!

Its hard to see out the window our blustery winter conditions
all the blowing snow.....Moose pass was suppose to get 18-24 inches.
A little Spring has sprung inside though.....
I will see you all next Monday
as the kids are off of school till then.....
and with our warmer temps we are going to get out and enjoy.......

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week into the weekend!

Its all about Cory today....and his re-do!

When we connected the store and house this summer.....
Cory our middle son moved into our old room.
We didn't have time to repaint and he was a good sport....
But we needed to jazz it up a bit so we did a fun collage yesterday on his wall.
He likes the paint color or I think the kids are sick of painting from all that we did this summer.
On Sunday we purchased a $5 map of the Kenai Peninsula
where we live....
put up a few of his treasures...
He loves this musical instrument made out of a coffee can....
he picked this out at our local 10,000 villages bazaar.
I love that the map had a built in vintage touch...
The quilt was made for him out of vintage wool clothing,
it was a Christmas gift.
and heres a sneak peak on tomorrows post....

another happy little camper in our house after our extra cold winter
its nice to have a few changes inside since we have been stuck indoors
more than ever this winter......cross your fingers we are suppose to get into
the 30's this next week ,as long as it doesn't rain.....we will be in Heaven!!
