What I've been up to.....

 This last Friday I finally my first dress up cocktail party
for ladies only...Mad Men style!
 I'm thankful for some of my friends who took pictures which I'll share with you
later. It was so much fun to see everyone dressed up in glamorous outfits
with their hair all done up holding there martinis......
This is the hair do we tried to copy for me......of course there is only one Betty
but my guests got the Heidi version of her......
and so this is what I was busy with and planning all week.

can't wait to show all the photos
and thank you to all my friends for helping me
from the appetizers, incredible desserts
to bar tending........

I'm off to visit all of you now.....

    Heidi - the "party" was absolutely the best ever I have been to - thanks so much for all your hard work and those who helped. Anxious to see more of the photos - don't know if you saw, but I had just a couple of pics on my Blog - it was "over the top" exciting. And, my dear friend, the pear martini was the first martini I have ever had. You simply are the best. Much love to you. Karen

    I agree with Karen Heidi, this was the best party I have ever been to!!! Your hair was fabulous!! I loved all the vintage dresses everyone had on and the hairdos really took us back in time!!! It was so much fun and your house was decked to the 9's with gorgeous christmas decorations!!! A totally awesome party put on by a totally awesome lady!!!!!!!!
