These wonderful pictures I'm sharing are from my friend Emma's
recent trip to Homer last weekend.
and I thought that you would enjoy them as much as I did.
Homer has always been one of my favorite places in Alaska.
Young Eagle that found a snack...
who will soon look as majestic as this one.
The harbor
I can't wait to share my teapot story with you next week.
I went on a field trip Friday to the pool with Mimi's class
and she had a friend spend the night.
Oh my how busy they are from one project to another.
I'm excited on Saturday we found 2 more Barbie car for a quarter
so hopefully no more squabbles over Barbie getting her own car!!!
There are only 3 more days of school and Tuesday is my last field trip
and I told Mimi's teacher I'll say my goodbyes because Wednesday
is my last day of freedom.....oh how shall I spend it!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDeleteLovely pictures!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! And what an interesting name for a place in Alaska! Homer! Is it named after the ancient Greek poet?
ReplyDeletehaha! I just looked it up: Homer was named for Homer Pennock, a gold mining company promoter, who arrived in 1896 on the Homer Spit and built living quarters for his crew of 50 men.
DeleteThese photos today are outstanding....the harbor photo is mystical looking when you open it in a larger format. It is perfect to be framed or placed on a postcard.
