ReplyDeleteyour blog post title translates my yesterday thrifting mood to a tee! i found me a fairy tales book in orange fake patent leather; a heart cushion in beige and orange and a 70's kitchen scales, in creme and orange. and it works! new addition to the kitchen-yet-to-come-and-always-getting-a-little-closer....

LOVE that orange tin! What a gorgeous towel, perfect for your bathroom..x
ReplyDeleteLove those tins especially the Arctic Survival one - wonder what was in there. I have to admit to orange being one of my least favourite colours. I used to have my bedroom in the colours of your towel as a teenager back in the 60s and you never like things second time around do you? Looking forward to seeing more treasures. Love the bathroom mirror and soapdish too.
ReplyDeleteI love the orange bathroom and the floral towel.
ReplyDeleteGreat boys bedroom.
Have a nice day,
my mum went to California to visit her sister in the early 1970s and came home with a set of towels exactly the same as yours, together with a yellow happy-face clock and matching weight scales, soap dish and toothbrush mug and procedded to decorate our rather staid family bathroom bright citrus yellow (I don't think my dad was amused!)
ReplyDeleteIt looked so happy and cheerful that I've done my bathrooms yellow ever since- and I have the happy-face clock still tick tocking away, although everything else is long gone!
Hoping that you are well and enjoying some Spring weather?
Thankyou for all the lovely comments you leave- apologies for not getting back to you sooner
xx
