Meet Max and Mabel,Sweet little things......

 Look at these little cuties....I met them for the first time yesterday.

 They loved my colorful chairs too!

 They are so fun too watch.....

 It wasn't till this morning, watching them with my coffee.

  I just had to name them.....

 The one is so sweet and the other one (Max) is a firecracker!

He kept head butting my septic pipes, charging them and then running up

to Mabel and pushing her around.

Now of course I could have this all wrong and for all I know they could both

be boys or girls but they were super fun to watch.....and 

what little personalities they have!!

  My friend got back from a trip to Ikea and brought me this sweet tray

LOVE it.......BUT

 LOOK at this, I love these......I remember when this cookie

got its start....sheer bliss!

Our first hike.....we had FUN!

 It was such a lovely day, sunny and warm.

This was Hidden lake.

We stopped to have a look and then continued on....

 We hiked Skilak Lake......

 It was breathtaking.....

 Lupine here and there....

 This part of the trail was wonderful....

 I loved this pair of lonely trees....

 At the top my boys were waiting for us.....

 they loved these gnarled clump of trees....from the winds.

 It was so fun and the company was just over the top wonderful to be with!

 When we got close to the top there were still a few patches of snow

and MUD......not bad though.

It just made it more fun!

 My kids had a blast....and

The Lovely Snapdragon....

 I planted some snapdragons and some Dahlias.

this weekend (fingers crossed) I sure hope they make it.

As you all know this gardening thing is new to me but with all 

of your lovely gardens out there as inspiration how can one not want to at least try!!!

I'm going on my first ever hike today with some friends

 Yesterday while the kids all had there friends over, 

It gave me some time to move my plants outside and tinker around

I can't wait to show you how things are greening up!

Mimi picked me these ferns.....and yes the lake was freezing!!!

 This tea pot and tea cup are my neighbors(I just had to share them with you), 

we have a mutual friend who needed to borrow

some for a bridal shower......all mix matched sets.

Its going to be so pretty!

This morning I kept trying to capture the light and to us the most precious green leaves ever after

our super cold and long winter.....they look heavenly!

But after four attempts this is the best.....

Coffee or Tea?

 I just remembered I never finished sharing a few of the changes in the living room

after I had moved the couch down to the family room.....

 I purchased this sweet little vase....

 The living room has more space and flow with the couch moved out.....

Remember my search for the perfect teapot well a friend found this

fun vintage coffee set at a yard sale......so the search for my big teapot

goes on but I'm now ready for a coffee break!

I loved it....

Kids are out of school now and they have already gone swimming in the lake

I guess summer has arrived!!

The Best Thrifted Make over ever..........

 These Boots are Made for walking........

I don't know if you remember me mentioning that I had found a pair of boots

a while back at the thrift store for $5

My friend offered to paint them like the ones I had seen at Sundance

the ones that were over $500.......

 She sent me a picture of the one thats finished....I'm so excited.

How cute will they be with a dress or jeans.

 With a cute sweater....oh the possibilities!

A little bit of fancy.....

 I found this Beautiful decanter and matching glasses at a yard sale

on Saturday.....

 I thought they were so elegant.....

 and I wanted to share one of my new little teapots and new sweet cup

from a yard sale that a friend found for me....more to come on this!

                         Also on Saturday Mimi got her haircut with her little friend and they were

so sweet to style their hair for them in sweet curls....

we called them our little Taylor Swifts.

I'll finish off with this sweet baby dress....all the little details!
