A thrifted re-do.....

 I bought this brass tray at the thrift store the other day.....
 and gave it a quick coat of paint.....

 I love how much room I have now
 with out that big cabinet in the way.....




 My beach glass from Halibut cove.....



I guess my before shot
 should have been at the top......
oh well


Last night we did the Skyline hike, well half of it......
I can't wait to share the view with you.

    I really like your idea of painting the brass tray, I would have never thought of doing something like that..opens up lots of possibilities :)

  15. Do like all the cheerful colours you use in your home, your home looks a really interesting place to be. Love that plate and the way you transformed it with that white paint too. Lovely pictures from the hike on your last post too. Glad the bear was outside the car :)! Been years since a bear was sighted in this district...thank goodness, I find them very intimidating to say it mildly ;)

  21. heidi, i simply love this idea o' yours to paint that plate white, it is looking swell against the wall, and oh yeah, good riddance to that cabinet, freeing up the space, is freeing up the mind. i should know, i'm longing for space... will get there.
