I'm ready for change......for more white?

It snowed today and warmed up to 10 above and it was heaven....
It may have even even been warmer,
we went and chopped wood in the afternoon and it was pleasant
fresh powdery snow to tromp through.....
our oldest had a horrible headache yesterday so he stayed home
so by mid day when he was up and around I had him help me move some furniture
around I'll show you soon....
We have been thinking about painting the rest of our trim in the main part of the
house for a while now and after realizing just how much lighter the rooms are
with white trim.....I've decided to go for it.....I can't wait to start!
It's going to be a lot of work but so rewarding....
You can see looking into the kitchen just
how much brighter the white trim makes the room.
You just can't believe how dark and depressing it is in the winter.....
I would like to start today but Phil finally needs my help in the shop
sanding.....

  7. The white woodwork does make a difference. Although, I do like the first photo with the blue trim. What room is the blue in?

  17. Oh, now I'd like to bleach out our wood a little bit too.. Maybe not completely white, but a bit white-washed. But we're totally open plan, so I couldn't do it room by room, as you're doing. I think it's just something to dream about at the moment.
